Clinical Nutritionist Perth Helping You Understand What’s Driving Your Symptoms
Bloating. IBS. Fatigue. Hormonal imbalances. Weight that won't shift.
If you’ve been told your test results are “normal”, tried changing your diet, or feel like you’re constantly searching for answers, you’re not alone.
I’m Sonali, a qualified Clinical Nutritionist based in Karrinyup, Perth. I help people struggling with gut health concerns, fatigue, hormone-related symptoms and stubborn weight issues uncover the patterns behind their symptoms and create a personalised nutrition plan based on their body, lifestyle and goals.
Through personalised nutrition care, detailed health assessment and functional testing when appropriate, I help uncover what may be influencing your health and create a plan designed around your body, not another generic diet approach.
My approach is simple: I listen, investigate and connect the dots. By looking at the bigger picture, including your symptoms, nutrition, lifestyle, previous blood tests and functional testing results, we create practical strategies to support your health long-term.
Whether you visit me at my Karrinyup clinic or connect with me via telehealth anywhere in Australia, my goal is to help you feel heard, understand your body better, and leave with a clearer understanding of your health, practical next steps and a personalised plan you can actually follow.

IS THIS YOU?
Struggling with bloating, constipation, diarrhoea, indigestion, abdominal pain, excessive gas, and burping or reflux?
Have you tried everything or your GP says all your tests are ‘normal' .. but you know something is not right?
Always hungry, no matter what you eat?
Cut out dairy, sugar, gluten?
Constantly tired?
Feel like your hormones are out of balance?
Tried all sorts of diets but still can’t lose weight?
These symptoms are your body's way of telling you something needs attention. Together, we'll look deeper, identify the patterns, and create a plan that supports your health long-term.
How Can I Support You
As a Clinical Nutritionist in Perth, I work with clients across gut health, metabolic health, weight loss, women's health and men's health.
Whatever your health goals or concerns, my approach remains the same: personalised, evidence-informed care built around your body, your symptoms and your lifestyle, not a generic plan.
Explore the areas below to learn more about how I can support you, or get in touch if you're unsure where to begin.
Gut Health & IBS
Bloating, reflux, constipation, diarrhoea, or digestive symptoms that just won't resolve no matter what you've tried. We'll look beyond the symptoms to understand what's actually driving them, then build a personalised plan to support your gut health long-term.
Weight Loss
A personalised nutrition program designed to support metabolic health, blood sugar balance and sustainable weight management through a plan created specifically for your body.
Men's Health
Support for men dealing with low energy, performance, weight that won't shift, poor sleep or metabolic concerns like blood sugar. We'll build a plan around your goals, whether that's performance, weight management, or just feeling like yourself again.
Women's Health
Support for women navigating hormone-related symptoms, whether that's PCOS, irregular cycles, or the fatigue that tends to come with it all. I look at how your nutritional needs shift across different life stages and build a plan around where you actually are right now.
How we’ll work together to uncover what your body needs
No two people are the same, so your care shouldn't be either. That's exactly why I don't work from a template. Here's what actually happens when you come and see me.
You Tell Me What's Really Going On
Our first session is about looking at the full picture, not just “I have bloating”.
We’ll explore when your symptoms started, what makes them better or worse, what you’ve already tried, and what your previous health investigations have shown.
Whatever you're dealing with, big or small, complicated or simple, this is your place to share it.
We look beyond “normal” results
If your bloodwork has come back “normal” but you still don’t feel well, I hear you. This happens more often than people realise.
Depending on your symptoms and health goals, I may recommend functional testing such as gut microbiome testing or other investigations, but only when I believe the results will provide meaningful insight and change your treatment plan.
I build your plan around you
Once I understand your health history, symptoms and results, I create a personalised plan designed around your body, your lifestyle and your goals.
Whether we’re working through gut health concerns or a Metabolic Balance® program, your recommendations are created specifically for you based on your lifestyle.
We Keep Adjusting Together
Real change rarely happens in a straight line.
As your body responds, we refine your plan, troubleshoot challenges and make adjustments so your approach continues to work in real life.
You’re not left with a plan and expected to figure it out alone. I’m here to support you throughout your journey.

Real People. Real Results.
Highly recommend Sonali at Nurture Mantra for all health guidance, especially gut health. My IBS has been carefully maintained with her insightful nutri-facts. I walk out feeling inspired each session!

Super happy with Sonali at Nurture Mantra. She is very professional and really knows her stuff. Helped with my ibs journey a lot. I’ve worked with many dieticians and nutritionists before, who never followed up and just provided me with hard-to-follow plans that were not customised. Totally opposite experience with Sonali. The supplements she provides also come at a great price as compared to online stores. She clearly loves what she does and is super passionate about it. Would recommend everyone to see her.

Functional Testing & Practitioner -only supplements
Sometimes your symptoms tell us everything we need to know. Other times, functional testing can provide valuable insights that help us better understand what's happening beneath the surface.
Where appropriate, I may recommend functional testing, including gut microbiome testing, food sensitivity testing or hair tissue mineral analysis, to help guide your care.
I also prescribe practitioner-only supplements from trusted, evidence-informed brands when I believe they will complement your personalised nutrition plan.
My philosophy is simple: I only recommend testing and supplements when I believe they'll provide meaningful insight or improve your health outcomes.

Meet Sonali- Your Clinical Nutritionist in Perth
Hi, I'm Sonali — a qualified Clinical Nutritionist and certified Metabolic Balance® Practitioner based in Karrinyup. I've built my practice around one belief: you shouldn't have to guess about your health.
My approach goes beyond diagnosis and symptom relief. I studied Nutritional & Dietetic Medicine because I wanted to understand why the body does what it does, not just memorise a list of "good" and "bad" foods. So when you sit down with me, we're not just talking about your diet. We're talking about your sleep, your stress, your gut, and how all of it is connected, backed by the actual evidence, not whatever's trending on Instagram this week.

Clinical Nutritionist Perth: Frequently Asked Questions
-
Your first appointment is a 90-minute consultation and, importantly, it's mostly me listening.
We'll explore your health history, current symptoms, medical background, nutrition, lifestyle, stress, sleep and what you’re hoping to achieve.
If you have recent blood tests or relevant health information, bring those along as they can provide valuable insight.
By the end of your consultation, you'll have a clearer understanding of what may be contributing to your symptoms and the next steps forward.
-
Many people come to see me after being told their blood tests are “normal”, yet they still don’t feel like themselves.
While standard reference ranges are useful, they don’t always provide the full picture of your health. I look beyond the numbers alone and consider your results alongside your symptoms, health history, lifestyle and individual goals.
This means we’re not just asking, “Is this result within range?” We’re also looking at how your results may relate to how you feel and function.
By connecting the dots between your symptoms, nutrition, lifestyle and relevant testing, we can develop a clearer understanding of what may be contributing to your health concerns and create a personalised plan moving forward.
-
Yes. I work with many clients who are experiencing digestive concerns such as bloating, abdominal discomfort, reflux, constipation, diarrhoea, food sensitivities and IBS symptoms.
While an IBS diagnosis can provide a name for your symptoms, it doesn’t always explain why they’re happening. Rather than focusing only on symptom management, I take the time to understand the bigger picture, including your digestive history, food patterns, stress, sleep, lifestyle, previous investigations and any relevant blood or functional test results.
Together, we look at what may be contributing to your symptoms, whether that’s gut microbiome imbalances, food triggers, digestive function, nutrient deficiencies, inflammation, stress or other lifestyle factors.
Your plan is personalised to your body and your goals. The aim isn’t to put you on another restrictive diet, but to help you understand your symptoms, support your gut health and create an approach you can realistically maintain long term.
-
Yes. I offer in-person consultations from my private clinic in Karrinyup, Perth, as well as telehealth appointments for clients across Australia.
Many clients choose a combination of both, with an initial in-person consultation followed by online follow-ups depending on their location, schedule and preferences.
-
Not necessarily.
I only recommend functional testing, such as gut microbiome testing, food sensitivity testing or hair tissue mineral analysis, when I believe it will provide meaningful insight and genuinely change your personalised plan.
Many clients make progress through their health history, symptoms and existing blood work alone.
If testing may be beneficial, we'll discuss the options together and decide whether it's the right next step for you.
-
This depends on your health goals, symptoms and how complex your health history is.
Some clients see meaningful progress within a few consultations, while others prefer ongoing support as we work through more complex or long-standing concerns.
There is no one-size-fits-all program. We'll discuss what level of support is right for you during your initial consultation.
-
No referral is needed to book a consultation with me. You can book directly online, or get in touch first if you're unsure which appointment is right for you.
I'm always happy to help guide you towards the best next step.
-
My private clinic is located in Karrinyup, Perth, at 39 Northstead Street, 6018.
I work with clients throughout Perth's northern suburbs, including Scarborough, Doubleview, Innaloo and Gwelup, as well as clients Australia-wide via telehealth.
-
Depending on your level of extras cover, you may be eligible for a rebate on your consultation.
As policies vary between providers, I recommend checking directly with your health fund before your appointment.
-
Supplements are not automatically recommended for every client.
Where appropriate, I may suggest practitioner-only supplements to complement your personalised nutrition plan, but only when I believe they provide value and support your goals.
My approach is always food first, personalised and based on what your body needs.
Let’s kickstart your journey to optimal health!
